When I started planning my wedding in December 2019, I knew I didn’t want to spend a fortune on flowers, which can typically cost thousands of dollars.

With Costco, I only paid $ 513.59 for all of the flowers at my wedding.

My current husband and I got married on December 28, 2019, so it was difficult to find flower shops that were open so close to the holidays.

Some of the websites I looked at had high prices so my mom suggested checking out Costco’s website.

On the Costco Wedding & Event Flowers page, I found fresh garlands and runners, mass blooms, and wedding packages. The Soft Grace Wedding Package immediately caught my eye.

You don’t have to be a member to shop on the Costco website, but you do need to create a free account. A surcharge of 5% is levied for non-members.

Instead of spending $ 650 on a single bouquet and $ 180 on each bridesmaid, I was able to get a 20-piece set of multiple bouquets, corsages, boutonniere, and rose petals for $ 479.99 (now $ 499.99 ) receive.

The flowers arrived at 10 a.m. the day before our wedding

Vistaflor, Costco’s florist, recommends placing an order two days before an event to ensure the flowers are hydrated and blooming. But because of the holidays and other non-shipping dates, I had to schedule delivery the day before our wedding.

It made me nervous but was assured that my money would be refunded if the flowers weren’t there on time. Fortunately, they arrived in perfect condition in a large box.

The bottoms of the bouquets were wrapped in damp towels and the corsages and boutonnieres were placed in water-filled bottles. Each bouquet had a little label to distinguish the bridal flowers from the bridesmaids’ bouquets, which was very helpful.

After reading the enclosed care tips, I lowered the temperature of our house to 65 degrees Fahrenheit and put the bouquets in water.

I could have left the flowers in the box and transported them to the venue first, but it all worked out.

My parents and sisters transported the flowers to the wedding suite at the venue, and I changed the water mixed with the plant food on the evening before and on the morning of the wedding.

The bouquets looked absolutely stunning and we got a lot of benefit from the flowers

The flowers looked absolutely stunning in person and in the photos – and we really got our money’s worth.

We used the bouquets during the ceremony and as decorations at the venue. Our seller even used extra flowers to decorate our cake.

Overall, if you are planning a wedding on a budget, I recommend getting your flowers from Costco.
